Free Yourself Or Suffer Comfortably

Chapter | 6

The sixth and final chapter in a series of articles to the end of the year, will deal with the words "regular", "temporary" and dealing with various situations. The article will explain why these words are under quotes, and more importantly – are your actions to cope with different situations, serve your interests.

There are situations where we don't always do the things we love.

There are situations where we don't always like the place we are.

In these cases, the first question arising is - is it temporary or permanent? In order to answer this, the following question should be asked and I'll use that as the next title:

What Is Temporary And Permanent?

These words are with no doubt flexible.

This flexibility is gained for one reason - relativity.

For someone the term "temporary" is 5 years, for someone else that period of time is permanent.

Perhaps you have heard this:

"This is temporary, a month max" and it's been over half a year...

Or

"From now on it will be permanent" and it lasted only two months...

What is your interpretation for these words?

Does what happens in practice correlates with your interpretation for these words?

Here's the important question of all and it will also be used as a title:

What do you do when there is no correlation?

(Or how do you deal with it?)

This question is relevant when it comes to something good, but the emphasis is particularly what happens when things are not that good?

I want to share with you the story about - four philanthropists that might answer the question "How do you deal with it?":

After a long stubborn fighting, the citizens of the conquered province where brought to a prison camp.

On a neighbor province sat four philanthropists and thought how to help their neighbors in captive.

On the first day the first philanthropist visited the prisoner's camp.

He saw the water situation and immediately asked to speak with the camp commander.

On the meeting he told him: "I saw the water situation in the camp is not good at all, I want to contribute a water purification installation for the prisoners, so they can drink suitable water for drinking!".

The camp commander approved it, the philanthropist was satisfied.

On the second day the second philanthropist came and visited the prisoner's camp.

He saw the food situation and immediately asked to speak with the camp commander.

On the meeting he told him: "I saw there is not enough food, I want to donate food for the prisoner's on a daily basis, so the prisoner's won't starve!".

The camp commander approved it, and a respectable amount of food arrived for the welfare of prisoners every day, the philanthropist was satisfied.

On the third day came the third philanthropist and visited the prisoner's camp.

He saw there quarters and immediately asked to speak with the camp commander.

On the meeting he told him: "I saw the conditions of the prisoner's quarters and I want to donate blankets and mattresses so they can sleep comfortably in the cold nights".

The camp commander approved it, blankets and mattresses where delivered, the philanthropist was satisfied.

On the fourth day came and visited the prisoner's camp the last philanthropist, after about ten minutes he left the camp.

Late at night he returned there, found the keys that open the prisoner's cells, and released the citizens of the province.

The philanthropist was satisfied.

What Are You Going To Choose?

Each and every one of us has four philanthropists.

On how many occasions during your lives we choose to use the fourth philanthropist? - It's a question you might want to ask.

You can suffer comfortably.

You can also… set yourself free.

True, it may be difficult and complex, yet there is no need to explain the benefits of this choice.

There are plenty of situations in the past you were not comfortable with.

There are plenty of situations in the present you are not comfortable with.

I'm sure you are thinking at least of some them right now...

Did you handle situations in the past by finding solutions that made the situation more tolerable?

Are you eagerly working in the present, now, to set yourself free?

This article concludes the series of articles written for the end of the year, and the beginning of the New Year.

The New Year (every year), brings an important message that says "what once happened doesn't have to happen again in the future".

If you're happy with your successes and achievements over the past year, act to preserve them, and make sure you share what you do with those around you.

If you are not satisfied with things that happened to you over the past year, change direction - Release Yourself.

Don't become fixated on your current situation - you're not a tree! A tree can not move... you can!

So what are you planning for the New Year?

Finally I'd like to wish you happiness, joy and health.

I wish you success in all of your challenges.

I wish that you'll release yourself from the fears that hold you back.

I wish you and your a happy New Year.
